As part of the survey, UK law firm Michelmores surveyed 500 affluent millennials – arguably a low amount – with investable assets of £25,000 or more about their approach and attitudes to money, work, investing, and lifestyle. The research shows that traditional forms of investment continue to be popular, with most rich youngsters investing in shares (37 percent), pensions or annuities (37 percent), or stocks (35 percent). The past year has seen schoolchildren across the world join the Fridays for Future strikes, witnessing mass walkouts from schools across the globe. In Chile, coordinated fare-dodging protests on public transport – also led by school pupils – has now grown into mass unrest against the rising cost of living. During the past two weeks, protests have erupted across Lebanon in opposition to raising taxes, involving road blockades and a human chain across the country to illustrate the unity of the people....

At least seven planets are known to orbit within the TRAPPIST-1 solar system. A new study shows these worlds have nearly identical densities — within just a few percent of each other. This suggests that each of these seven planets could have similar compositions. “This is one of the most precise characterizations of a set of rocky exoplanets, which gave us high-confidence measurements of their diameters, densities, and masses. This is the information we needed to make hypotheses about their composition and understand how these planets differ from the rocky planets in our solar system,” explained Eric Agol, professor of astronomy at the University of Washington....

Although the prior model will remain for sale, the company is updating the top-end configurations ($1,500+) with a new Microsoft SQ2 processor, once again created in partnership with Qualcomm.
